When you recognize that an urge to eat was caused by a trigger rather than true hunger, you can choose to do another activity to distract yourself until the urge passes. Here is a list of 101 ideas to try instead of eating. Highlight those that appeal to you and add some of your own. Remember, try to choose activities that are enjoyable, available, and preferably, eating incompatible. These are great Aunt Renee. I'm definitely going to jot some of these down. Also I wanted to tell you I saw a "fit for life" stand in one of the malls out here. It made me happy and made me think of you...I guess it's helping people all over the country! Proud of you for all the work you've done in making your body healthy. It's been an inspiration to me and I know many others as well. Love you.
opps, I got the name wrong..."take shape for life" I just recogized the logo from your cards ;)
